Role Overview
We are inviting applications for an exciting full-time, permanent position based in Auckland where you will join a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and repairing a broad range of forklift trucks. Your work will involve field and site-based service visits as well as tasks in our fully stocked workshop. The forklifts include both mechanical battery-electric and internal combustion models, offering diverse technical challenges and opportunities to deepen your expertise. Your fundamental contribution will be to deliver outstanding service to our customers, ensuring their operations run smoothly.
This role offers structured training on our products and career progression within the organization. Existing familiarity with Crown products is beneficial but not essential, as comprehensive training resources will be provided.
Work Details
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, with some on-call responsibilities
- Potential for paid overtime and time-and-a-half remuneration beyond 40 hours per week
- Optional 4-day work weeks of 10 hours each, subject to conditions
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years experience with material handling equipment, auto electrical, or battery electric vehicle systems, or a corresponding trade qualification (including recognized overseas credentials)
- Strong customer-oriented approach with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Comfortable with IT systems and quick to learn new technologies
- Skilled at building positive customer relationships and maintaining attention to detail
- Physically capable of handling manual work requirements
- Holder of a valid driver's license and able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
