About the Role and Company
Selecta is Europe's leading provider of unattended self-serve coffee and convenience food, delivering vending solutions and specialist coffee services across 16 countries. In the UK alone, we serve approximately 3,500 businesses including workplaces, schools, universities, and hospitals, catering to around 12 million people daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all vending machines are fully stocked and hygienically cleaned according to company standards at all times.
- Manage stock and cash controls for machines and company vans accurately.
- Troubleshoot and fix minor machine issues such as cup jams or blocked mixing bowls; promptly report all faults to the Service Desk.
- Immediately report any accidents, unfit food, or customer complaints to the Area Manager or Service Desk.
- Maintain a consistently high standard of customer care, interacting courteously with clients on site.
- Conduct regular machine audits and quality checks as directed by the Area Retail Manager, communicating necessary follow-up actions with the Retail Merchandiser and Area Manager.
- Alert the Area Manager about any machines that fall below hygiene standards set by the Automatic Vending Association.
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to perform servicing tasks on customer premises efficiently.
- Capable of completing audits and quality assessments thoroughly.
- Strict adherence to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Adaptability and responsiveness to evolving work conditions and schedules.
- Professional appearance with a strong commitment to excellent customer service.
