Job description

Overview

Selecta is Europe's leading provider of unattended self-serve coffee and convenience food vending solutions, operating across 16 European countries and serving 12 million people daily. In the UK, Selecta supports around 3,500 businesses, supplying beverages and snacks in diverse environments including workplaces, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain vending machines by refilling and cleaning them to company standards to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Handle stock and cash management for both machines and company vehicles accurately.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues such as cup jams or blocked mixing bowls and report faults to the Service Desk promptly.
  • Report any incidents including accidents, unfit products, or customer complaints to the Area Manager or Service Desk on the same day.
  • Provide training to new team members or those needing skills enhancement to uphold high service quality.
  • Deliver courteous and consistent customer service during all client interactions.
  • Conduct audits and quality inspections of Retail Merchandisers' machines as instructed, sharing follow-up actions with relevant personnel.
  • Identify and report machines failing to meet hygiene standards per the Automatic Vending Association to the Area Manager.

Candidate Requirements

  • Capability to train new employees effectively.
  • Ability to perform audits and quality assessments on vending equipment.
  • Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Flexible and adaptable to operational changes.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and professional appearance.
