Job Overview

Uma Rubber and Plastic Product is seeking a creative and meticulous Content Writer to produce compelling and informative content across digital and print media. The candidate will craft SEO-optimized content that supports the company's branding and business goals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Investigate industry-specific topics to develop original and engaging written material.
• Compose blogs, website content, articles, product descriptions, social media posts, email communications, and marketing collateral.
• Produce SEO-friendly content aimed at enhancing website visibility and search engine rankings.
• Review and edit content prior to publication ensuring adherence to company tone, style, and brand standards.
• Collaborate with Marketing, HR, Sales, and Design departments to fulfill content needs.
• Create content publishing schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
• Update website and marketing content as necessary.
• Draft recruitment ads, job descriptions, company profiles, and internal communications.
• Optimize content based on performance insights and user engagement metrics.
• Stay informed about trends in content marketing, SEO best practices, and industry advancements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, Literature, or related disciplines.
• 2 to 5 years’ experience in content writing, copywriting, digital marketing, or similar fields.
• Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with strong grammar skills.
• Creative storytelling and research proficiency.
• Knowledge of SEO concepts and keyword integration.
• Familiarity with content management systems, preferably WordPress.
• Basic digital marketing and social media platform understanding.
• Competence in conducting online research and verifying facts.
• Strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Additional advantage if experienced with AI writing tools like ChatGPT or Gemini.
• Preferred software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, WordPress, Canva (basic), Grammarly, ChatGPT/AI tools, Google Search Console (basic), and Google Analytics (basic).

Compensation

Monthly salary range is between 20,000 and 40,000 INR, commensurate with experience and skills.
