Role overview
This position is for a senior editor who can create performance-driven video ads for paid acquisition campaigns in e-commerce and high-ticket offers. The focus is on short-form creative that grabs attention immediately and keeps viewers watching, rather than polished corporate-style edits. The work involves producing ad content for Meta and TikTok, including UGC-style videos, talking-head edits, and mashups.
This is a full-time remote role.
What you will edit
- Paid social advertisements, typically running from 30 seconds up to 3 minutes, with strong hooks, retention-focused pacing, captions, zooms, supporting b-roll, and sound design.
- Several opening-hook and intro versions for each ad so they can be tested against one another.
- Rapid revisions and improved iterations on ads that are already performing well.
What the client is looking for
- Proven experience editing paid social, direct response, or UGC-style ads, with examples that show your own work.
- An understanding that the first 2 seconds are critical, with a mindset built around hooks and viewer retention.
- Strong creative judgment across timing, typography, music choice, and pacing.
- Reliability, accountability, and clear communication, including meeting deadlines consistently and staying responsive.
- The ability to keep ideas fresh instead of relying on the same edit template repeatedly.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Bonus experience
An interest in or eye for static graphics and landing pages is helpful, though not required. The team uses AI tools for much of this type of work.
