Role Overview

The Senior Vice President, Strategic Growth, is a critical position driving Genius' growth by designing, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships. Initially, the role concentrates on creating strong alliances within AI and social platform sectors that leverage Genius' unique data and technology assets. It involves end-to-end responsibility for partnership strategies, deal execution, and market development in emerging industries, interfacing directly with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy formulation and execution of partnerships, initially targeting AI and social platform verticals to establish Genius as a vital ecosystem player.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of complex partnerships including origination, structuring, negotiation, and deal closure ensuring alignment with company's long-term goals.
• Source and successfully finalize high-value transformative deals that enhance revenue, product capabilities, and global reach.
• Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with key decision-makers in AI, social media, and adjacent technology sectors.
• Quickly analyze market conditions and partner requirements to tailor Genius' offerings into competitive and commercially viable solutions.
• Enhance Genius’ external narrative to resonate with diverse senior stakeholders and ecosystem partners.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, legal, finance, and executive teams to develop scalable and sound commercial agreements.
• Continuously identify and strategize entry into new vertical markets beyond AI and social platforms.

• Well-established network with C-suite executives in AI, social platforms, and related technology fields.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation expertise.

Success Metrics

• Position Genius within 12 months as a preferred strategic partner for major AI and social platform companies.
• Achieve multiple significant partnerships that expand revenue streams, distribution channels, and/or product features.
• Develop a reproducible framework for entering and growing new vertical markets.

Compensation and Work Environment

This role offers an annual salary up to $300,000 USD, plus performance-based variable pay, alongside eligibility for corporate benefits. Genius fosters an office-oriented culture promoting collaboration, with some variances in hybrid work arrangements depending on role and location. Occasional travel is expected.
