Sports Data Collector (Football)

Role Overview

Genius Sports, a leading global sports technology firm that supplies official live data to top leagues, federations, and media, is seeking Sports Data Collectors (Sports Scouts) to gather live football match data. This role involves attending football matches, including LOI Men's Premier Division and other less-publicised tournaments, to capture play-by-play statistics using dedicated software.

Key Duties

• Be present at live football matches in the local area to collect accurate, minute-by-minute data including scores and important events.
• Use mobile devices and proprietary software to record data during fast-paced games.

Candidate Requirements

• Deep understanding of football rules and gameplay.
• Dependable, detail-focused, and well-organised work habits.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as matches occur.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Compensation and Benefits

• A fixed fee of 70 euros per game attended.
• Flexible schedule allowing work based on game availability.
• Provided training and assessments to ensure quality data collection.
