Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Vice President to serve as the Platforms Operating Model (POM) Product Owner within our NAV Workflow, Oversight & Control team based in Manchester. This leadership role involves setting strategic direction and operational execution to enhance performance and control within platform operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the Platform Operations strategy in collaboration with the Enterprise Product Owner (EPO) and Engineering Lead, converting strategic goals into detailed multi-year roadmaps, annual objectives, and measurable performance indicators.
- Lead operational service delivery across various Pods and Strategic Delivery Groups (SDGs), driving ongoing improvements in client satisfaction, cost efficiency, and control by implementing effective operating models and rigorous delivery management.
- Serve as the senior operations expert supporting the Platform’s objectives; escalate significant operational matters to senior governance teams including the EPO and Operations Practice Lead, and spearhead corrective and preventive measures.
- Champion the adoption of Operations Practice standards, methodologies, and tools within the Platform—including metrics tracking, service catalogues, manual touchpoint reporting, and digital tool integration—working closely with the Operations Hub.
- Collaborate with operations leaders across other platforms to share best practices, streamline cross-platform hand-offs, optimize transaction flows, and address inter-platform challenges.
- Design and implement effective communication strategies to ensure that all operations personnel understand platform priorities, their individual contributions, and progress toward goals, fostering transparency and accountability.
- Oversee risk management and control frameworks across Operations, ensuring compliance with Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), timely issue resolution, sustainable control structures, and preparedness for audits and reviews.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated extensive leadership experience within complex, large-scale operations environments, with preferred exposure to Agile methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in data management and analytics, with proven capability implementing digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, control quality, and client outcomes.
- Executive presence with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to unify diverse groups around common goals.
- Decisive decision-maker, capable of making timely, well-judged decisions in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
- Methodical problem solver focused on delivering measurable results and sustainable improvements.
