Role Overview

The Senior Vice President of Operations will be responsible for guiding operational direction and execution across the organization. This leadership role is focused on improving efficiency, supporting growth, and ensuring strong service delivery. The position calls for someone who can connect day-to-day operations with broader business goals, encourage ongoing improvement, and build a culture of accountability across multiple teams. The successful candidate will manage resources, refine processes, and introduce best practices that improve productivity and help control costs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • At least 5 years of investigative experience in either the government or private sector.
  • At least 5 years of senior management experience, including the ability to handle client concerns and perform management and technical reviews focused on quality.
  • At least 2 years of experience overseeing a nationwide field staff supporting government projects.
  • Strong financial judgment, including experience managing budgets and operational spending.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a track record of influencing and working effectively across all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in an industry closely related to the company’s operating environment, such as manufacturing, technology, or logistics.
  • Prior federal or state law enforcement experience.
  • Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation efforts and introducing new technology into operations.
  • Experience in a global or multinational operating environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement operational plans that support long-term business objectives and market needs.
  • Guide and develop cross-functional teams to promote strong performance, engagement, and professional growth.
  • Oversee core daily operations, including supply chain, production, quality assurance, and customer service, to maintain high standards.
  • Work with executive leaders to identify process improvements, reduce costs, and bring in new technology where beneficial.
  • Set and track key performance indicators to measure operational success and take corrective action when needed.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource deployment to improve operational efficiency and financial results.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and industry standards to reduce risk and support strong governance.
  • Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and operational flexibility so the organization can adapt to changing conditions.
