Position Summary
The Senior Vice President of Operations is a senior executive leadership role responsible for guiding enterprise operations and translating business strategy into effective day-to-day execution. This leader will shape operational direction across the organization, strengthen infrastructure, improve business processes, and support the delivery of institutional-grade services.
The role calls for ownership of cross-functional operations, the creation of scalable operating models, and the improvement of organizational performance. Working in a non-custodial environment, the successful candidate will champion governance, transparency, efficiency, compliance, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and implement organization-wide operational plans that support business goals and future growth.
- Design operational structures that can scale as the company expands and matures.
- Create and maintain operating policies, governance practices, and performance benchmarks.
- Promote a culture centered on accountability, continuous improvement, and operational discipline.
- Lead daily operations across multiple business areas and ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain consistent service quality, efficiency, and operational standards throughout the business.
- Develop repeatable procedures and best practices for core operational processes.
- Prepare operations for product launches, strategic projects, and market growth initiatives.
- Review workflows and redesign processes to improve speed, quality, and scalability.

- Create dashboards and performance metrics to track organizational health and results.
- Lead ongoing improvement programs across the enterprise.
- Build and maintain risk controls and operational risk management systems.
- Identify operational threats and put mitigation plans in place.

- Work closely with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to maintain readiness and integrity.
- Oversee operational support across the full institutional client journey.
- Improve onboarding, service standards, and responsiveness to client needs.
- Ensure client-facing operations reflect professionalism, transparency, and institutional quality.
- Support client retention and satisfaction through strong operational execution.
- Partner with Product, Technology, Finance, Compliance, Marketing, Business Development, Risk, and Client Services.
- Lead cross-functional programs that advance strategic business goals.
- Align operational delivery with company priorities and client expectations.
- Encourage effective communication and collaboration across leadership and functional teams.
- Track business performance using data, metrics, and executive-level reporting.
- Provide operational insight and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure people, systems, and resources are allocated according to business priorities.
- Drive successful execution of major enterprise initiatives.
- Recruit, coach, and lead a strong Operations team.
- Set clear goals, expectations, and accountability standards for leaders and teams.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, or a closely related field is required; an MBA is preferred.
- At least 12 years of progressive executive leadership experience in operations, financial services, fintech, digital assets, or technology-led organizations.
- Demonstrated success in managing large operational teams in fast-growing environments.
- Strong command of operational strategy, business transformation, governance, and enterprise risk management.
- Proven ability to build scalable operating frameworks and improve enterprise performance.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience in digital assets, blockchain, fintech, or institutional financial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with non-custodial operating models and institutional client service environments is preferred.
- Background in regulated or highly controlled environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of workflow automation, enterprise systems, and business intelligence tools is preferred.
- Understanding of operational governance, audit readiness, and business continuity planning is preferred.
