Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Treasury Cash Operations Senior professional to execute and enhance treasury operations for global clients. The position involves hands-on management of cash operations, payment processing, reporting, and contributing to transformation projects within a dynamic consulting setting. This role collaborates closely with managers and client stakeholders to ensure seamless cash management, accurate financial reporting, and adherence to compliance controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions across various bank accounts and geographies, supporting both cash and liquidity management.
• Assist with short-term cash flow forecasting and liquidity assessments.
• Track client inflows such as receivables and payments including payroll and vendor disbursements.
• Identify potential cash shortfalls or funding needs and escalate accordingly.
• Process domestic and international payment methods like wire transfers and ACH transactions accurately and on time.
• Manage bank account activities including documentation, updates, and tracking to maintain compliance.
• Maintain treasury systems and ensure data integrity.
• Develop periodic cash flow forecasts on a weekly and monthly basis, monitor variances between actual and forecasted cash flows, and highlight key factors.
• Prepare and distribute standardized treasury reports for internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Support working capital analysis and liaise effectively with banking partners to address operational queries.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FP&A, and Tax to fulfill cash requirements.
• Promptly escalate payment, liquidity, or banking issues to appropriate stakeholders.
• Support treasury process improvements and automation efforts including enhancements to Treasury Management Systems (TMS).
• Identify operational inefficiencies and propose actionable recommendations to improve processes.
• Apply knowledge of accounting principles and adhere to professional and company policies, including the EY GDS FAAS Policy Manual, under guidance from senior management.

Candidate Profile

• CA qualification or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Four to seven years of relevant experience in treasury, cash operations, or finance roles.
• Previous experience in consulting, shared services, or multinational corporate environments is preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of treasury procedures and banking systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one prominent Treasury Management System (e.g., Kyriba, SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment with a strong focus on delivery and execution.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within treasury operations and consulting domains.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to work.
• Strong analytical capabilities and adept problem-solving skills.
• Good grasp of cash forecasting and liquidity management principles.
• Proficiency with financial reporting tools including advanced Excel skills.
• Effective communication skills, including coordinating with various stakeholders.
• High attention to detail combined with a solid control and compliance orientation.
