Senior Technician – Indian Motorcycle

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technician for Indian Motorcycle to join our expanding Specialized Sports Equipment team in Dubai. This onsite position involves providing top-tier maintenance and repair services for Indian Motorcycle models, ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards. The role requires tackling complex technical repairs, mentoring junior staff, and supporting overall workshop improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Indian Motorcycle models including Scout, Chief, Chieftain, Challenger, Pursuit, Roadmaster, and FTR.
• Identify and resolve intricate mechanical and electrical issues using approved diagnostic tools and service documentation.
• Perform repairs on engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, braking, steering, and electrical systems with precise adherence to standards.
• Complete warranty repairs as per manufacturer instructions, ensuring proper documentation and accurate records.
• Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections and fit genuine Indian Motorcycle accessories and performance enhancements.
• Execute comprehensive road tests before and after service to confirm vehicle performance and repair accuracy.
• Provide technical mentoring and coaching to junior technicians, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Keep detailed repair orders, job cards, and service reports up to date and accurate.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas and tools at all times.
• Comply fully with health, safety, environmental regulations and manufacturer protocols.
• Participate in manufacturer-led technical training for continual product knowledge enhancement.
• Assist with field service activities, promotional events, and customer support as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years working as a Motorcycle Technician, ideally with premium motorcycle brands.
• Possession of ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• Experience with premium brands such as Indian Motorcycle, Harley-Davidson, BMW Motorrad, Triumph, Ducati, KTM, Honda, or Yamaha is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of motorcycle engine systems, electrical circuits, fuel injection, ABS, suspension, and drivetrain components.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical bulletins accurately.
• Proven leadership aptitude to guide and mentor less experienced technicians.
• Willingness to complete Indian Motorcycle technical training and certification courses.
• Meticulous attention to detail coupled with a commitment to superior workmanship.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Independent working capability alongside effective team collaboration.
• Good communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Relevant technical certification is required.
• Valid motorcycle riding license issued in the UAE.
