Role Overview

We are seeking an adaptable and data-driven Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for a temporary four-month contract, from August through December 2026. This role involves managing end-to-end recruiting for a wide range of positions, from high-volume hires to specialized roles within the nonprofit sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle, including coordinating interviews and managing scheduling for diverse roles.
  • Conduct strategic intake sessions with hiring managers to gain deep insight into technical qualifications and cultural fit requirements.
  • Deploy innovative sourcing methods to identify passive candidates and effectively manage relationships with external recruiting agencies.
  • Leverage recruitment metrics to monitor the health of talent pipelines, provide updates to hiring managers, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Establish trust and positive relationships swiftly across the organization to support hiring goals.
  • Support the onboarding and orientation process for newly hired employees to ensure smooth transitions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of two years of complete full-cycle recruiting experience across varied roles.
  • Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, particularly Lever, sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, and Google Suite.
  • Ability to quickly master unique and specialized roles, even without prior nonprofit experience.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a natural ability to build immediate rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model, with flexibility to be onsite depending on business and recruitment needs.

Diversity and Inclusion

Hively is committed to equal opportunity employment, welcoming applicants regardless of educational background, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, socioeconomic status, disability, or veteran status.
