Job description
Role Overview
Lead cross-site teams to deliver both custom and standard integrated circuits for top-tier clients, managing all aspects of projects from conception to product end-of-life. Act as the principal point of contact for internal stakeholders while cultivating strong customer and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multi-site project teams focused on integrated circuit deliveries for Tier-1 customers.
- Assume full ownership of projects and serve as the primary liaison for internal teams.
- Engage deeply in every phase of product development, from initiation through to retirement.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with vendors and customers.
- Regularly update clients on project progress ensuring clarity on their needs and expectations.
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions, ensuring transparent communication and prompt follow-up on action items.
- Create and disseminate comprehensive project plans and milestones to project teams and key stakeholders.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring sufficient staffing for success.
- Report project status on a set schedule to all parties, proactively highlighting issues and suggesting corrective measures.
- Organize consistent project team meetings to maintain momentum and collaboration.
- Strive for excellence across all project facets, addressing problems promptly with necessary interventions.
- Coordinate and execute project gate reviews and ensure adherence to established development processes, documenting any deviations for approval.
- Facilitate review and task force groups when needed to support project goals.
- Promote open communication across all project levels, encouraging transparency and teamwork.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet all specified requirements.
- Implement rigorous risk and change management in project oversight.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science fields.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in program management within the semiconductor sector.
- Track record of effectively managing Tier 1 client accounts.
- Excellent written and oral communication capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient and confident English speaker in global business contexts.
- Self-driven with a strong service orientation.
- Competent in handling complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially MS Project.
