Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader passionate about transforming healthcare services for children to join West London Children’s Healthcare (WLCH) as a Programme and Innovation Manager. This key role involves leading impactful programmes across North West London in collaboration with clinical teams, commissioning partners, and stakeholders, aiming to improve outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of programmes aimed at service transformation for children and young people across North West London.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative integrated care solutions, including enhancements in mental health support, epilepsy care pathways, and transition services.
  • Champion continuous service improvements and promote cross-organizational partnerships to align programmes with strategic priorities.
  • Utilize analytics, evidence-based insights, and learning to inform decisions and swiftly comprehend new clinical and operational domains.
  • Contribute approximately 70–80% of working time to project activities, often managing multiple projects simultaneously balancing short- and long-term objectives.
  • Lead project delivery, coordinating research, analysis, and production of required materials, exercising significant autonomy and directing others to meet deadlines and resource constraints.
  • Engage in annual personal development and foster a culture of learning and appraisal within the team.
