- Continuously monitor regulatory developments and ensure disclosures comply with global sustainability frameworks like GRI, SASB, TCFD, and ISSB.
- Work in collaboration with Investor Relations to prepare materials and respond to investor inquiries; lead ESG disclosures such as CDP reporting.
- Manage and improve processes relating to external assurance of the non-financial report, including efforts toward automation.
- Drive projects that enhance group-wide readiness for regulatory changes, especially the CSRD.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience managing non-financial reporting and coordinating external assurance or audit processes, within corporate or consultancy contexts.
- Strong aptitude for quick learning and qualitative analysis to understand ESRS standards and support content refinement.
- Effective project management skills with ability to juggle multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
- Degree or equivalent background relevant to sustainability reporting, coupled with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluency in English, with strong oral and written communication as well as presentation skills.
- Organizational proficiency with capacity to handle concurrent workstreams in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to a collaborative, growth-minded team culture.
Preferred Extras
- Familiarity with German and European non-financial reporting frameworks including CSRD, EU Taxonomy, NFRD, as well as GRI, SASB, and particularly TCFD standards.
- Basic knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting principles.
- German language skills to align disclosures between German and English documentation.
Additional Information
- Hybrid work arrangement: on-site presence at Berlin campus approximately two days per week.
- Annual leave of 27 days plus an additional day each in the 2nd and 3rd years of employment.
- Professional development support including a €1000 education budget, language course offerings, parental support, and access to online learning platforms.
- Health and wellness benefits featuring medical checkups, meditation programs, and gym access.
- Financial benefits like Employee Share Purchase Plan, sabbatical bank, discounted public transport passes, life and accident insurance, and pension plans.
- Meal benefits via digital vouchers to foster social engagement over food.
