Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, it is one of Europe's largest tech platforms and publicly traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as part of the MDAX index since 2017. The company combines high performance with a collaborative and human-focused culture, fostering an environment where ambition and belonging coexist.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Staff Product Analyst specialized in Vendor Growth to join our Product Analytics team. This position focuses on spearheading data strategies that shape our vendor growth business segment by transforming extensive datasets into strategic insights beyond standard reporting. By driving analytics and experimentation, you will directly influence improvements that empower our restaurant partners to operate with more independence and at greater scale worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine comprehensive product metrics that accurately measure vendor health, partner satisfaction, and overall business sustainability. Establish critical KPIs including VSSR and self-service metrics.
- Deliver insightful, quantitative analyses that go beyond surface-level data, enabling Product Managers and Engineers to prioritize developments that enhance partner experiences.
- Lead experimental design, implementation, and interpretation, particularly A/B test frameworks validating vendor-facing features and operational efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to constructing scalable analytics infrastructure and self-service tools to ensure robust data quality and accessibility across departments.
- Collaborate on advanced modeling projects to analyze vendor behavior, uncover adoption obstacles, and optimize rollout plans for new features.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to less experienced analysts, promoting a culture of rigorous peer review and knowledge sharing.
- Advocate for a data-driven approach within Product and Tech teams, ensuring quality and consistency in analytics practices.
Required Experience and Skills
- Over six years of experience in product analytics, data science, or related roles, preferably within dynamic technology or marketplace environments.
- Expertise in designing and analyzing A/B tests, causal inference techniques, and statistical evaluations.
- Proficiency with large-scale data processing using SQL (BigQuery, Snowflake) and strong programming capabilities in Python for analytics, automation, and visualization tasks.
- Demonstrated success in building and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and creating impactful dashboards with tools like Tableau or Looker to guide business decision-making.
- Proven leadership abilities in independently managing complex projects, mentoring junior analysts, and influencing stakeholders effectively without formal authority.
- Experience working on vendor- or partner-centric products is advantageous.
Additional Information and Benefits
- Hybrid work model offering two days per week onsite collaboration at the vibrant Berlin campus.
- 27 days of paid annual leave with additional days granted in the second and third years of employment.
- Career development support including a €1,000 education budget, access to diverse online courses, language classes, and parental assistance programs.
- Wellness benefits such as health screenings, meditation sessions, gym and bicycle subsidies.
- Financial incentives including an employee share purchase plan, sabbatical bank, discounted public transportation tickets, life and accident insurance, and a corporate pension scheme.
- Food-related perks encompass digital meal vouchers, food discounts, and corporate dining offers.
