Job description

Job Purpose

Assist ADNOC Leadership by managing board meetings, executive sessions, and related documentation for ADNOC Group Companies. Coordinate internal stakeholder inputs to extract key points, address concerns, and highlight important themes for leadership consideration. Establish and maintain a system to track leadership actions, requests, and correspondences to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review board materials covering HSE, financials, operations, projects, market outlooks, personnel, and communications for boards chaired by ADNOC Leadership.
  • Consolidate inputs from internal teams to draft key takeaways, address issues, and identify themes for group company boards representing ADNOC Leadership.
  • Liaise with Asset Management teams, Finance, Corporate Governance, and others to formulate leadership responses to board resolutions.
  • Ensure that minutes of board meetings accurately capture decisions and follow-up actions.
  • Support preparation of briefing notes for the Chairman for Executive Leadership Team meetings.
  • Assist with other matters requiring ADNOC Leadership involvement or approval.
  • Enforce compliance with governance workflows and maintain document repositories for the Executive Office, including policies and procedures.
  • Implement approved policies and procedures supporting department objectives aligned with company and international standards.
  • Contribute to achieving departmental performance goals.
  • Drive innovation and continuous process improvements aligned with best practices.
  • Adhere to HSE policies and sustainability guidelines consistent with ADNOC and international standards.
  • Provide data inputs to management information and progress reports.

Communication & Relationships

  • Interact regularly with line management, directors, ADNOC Leadership, senior staff within the directorate, board secretaries, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain contact with senior management across ADNOC headquarters and external agencies as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • At least 10 years in corporate support or affairs roles, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector; minimum 5 years’ experience in Big Four or international consultancy is preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability to work under pressure with tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Experience collaborating with senior executives and government officials.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, MBA, or certifications in Business Administration, General Management, or Finance are advantageous.
