Technician, Instrumentation and Control Maintenance - Habshan

Job Overview

The role involves executing preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance along with testing on all plant instrumentation process monitoring, control, and protective equipment according to established guidelines and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance, repair work, and equipment testing compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standards to meet work order requirements.
• Participate actively in planned plant shutdown tasks and ensure the timely completion of maintenance duties.
• Validate completed maintenance jobs to confirm compliance with specifications and duly document maintenance activity sheets.
• Conduct inspections and maintain vigilance to detect emerging issues within assigned areas, promptly reporting any anomalies.
• Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and test various process control instruments and relay logic systems to maintain designed operation of instrumentation systems.
• Carry out preventive and emergency maintenance during scheduled and unscheduled shutdowns to ensure equipment reliability and prevent unexpected operational interruptions.
• Implement field and system modifications of control elements or loops based on plant change requests and assist in updating related plant documentation to accurately reflect changes, following the management of change protocols.
• Support upgrading and retrofitting of new control instruments in existing field panels and main control rooms for modifications completion, ensuring adherence to standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate supplemented by a vocational trade certificate relevant to the field.
• Have at least four years of hands-on experience in similar roles within the oil and gas sector.
