Job description

About Dataprana

Dataprana is building digital infrastructure for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. The company develops data centers across the United States and oversees a pipeline of more than 700 MW, with a plan to reach 5 GW by 2030 through distributed modular facilities designed for fast deployment.

Its model centers on securing land, arranging power, and accelerating permitting so that customers can access ready-to-build sites that support AI, GPU-as-a-service, and other compute-heavy businesses. The organization operates with speed and efficiency that it positions as faster than traditional developers, and it sees itself as contributing essential infrastructure for future technology.

Joining the team means working at the intersection of infrastructure, AI, and next-generation computing, with direct impact on how modern data centers are created and run.

Role Overview

Dataprana is looking for its first internal Senior Recruiter to lead hiring from start to finish and establish the recruiting function from the ground up. This position carries full ownership: you will fill open roles quickly while also creating the systems, workflows, and tools that make hiring scalable as the company expands. You will work closely with the VP of Operations and managers across Energy, Marketing, and Operations.

What You Will Do

  • Handle the complete recruiting cycle for all current and newly approved openings, from intake meetings through offer acceptance.
  • Align hiring priorities with quarterly business objectives and maintain an up-to-date shared view of every active search.
  • Build talent pipelines through proactive outbound sourcing such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, Boolean search, professional networks, and niche industry communities; incoming applicants should not be the main source of candidates.
  • Manage the candidate journey from the first outreach through offer stage, including communication, interview coordination, and feedback collection.
  • Create and roll out a consistent hiring process covering intake, job description drafting, sourcing approach, interview design, scorecards, debriefs, offer handling, and expected turnaround times with hiring managers.
  • Choose and set up a candidate tracking solution, whether a full ATS or a temporary system, based on the company’s stage and budget.
  • Build a standard onboarding flow covering equipment, orientation, and the first 30 days, and refine the onboarding process already in place.
  • Conduct structured intake sessions with hiring managers for each role and document success measures and target timelines.
  • Share weekly pipeline progress with the VP of Operations and leadership, and lead bi-weekly debriefs for active searches.
  • Guide leadership on talent-market conditions, compensation comparisons, and practical hiring timelines.

First 90-Day Outcomes

  • By day 30, every priority vacancy should have an active sourcing plan and a documented pipeline.
  • Provide weekly pipeline reports to management throughout the period.
  • Achieve at least one successful placement, meaning an offer is accepted and the candidate starts, within the first 90 days.
  • Deliver a documented recruiting process that is approved by leadership and being used actively, with an ATS selected and configured and turnaround expectations agreed with hiring managers.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of end-to-end recruiting experience, including work on senior-level and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Strong outbound sourcing capability with hands-on use of tools and search methods such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, and sourcing platforms, along with the ability to build pipelines without depending on inbound applicants.
  • Experience launching or substantially improving recruiting processes and ATS workflows, ideally in a startup or fast-growing environment.
  • Comfort working independently as a sole or embedded recruiter with a high degree of ownership and direct collaboration with executives.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills, plus the ability to advise on compensation and market trends.
  • Experience hiring for data center, AI/ML, energy, cloud/HPC, or other technical infrastructure roles is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Expected pay is $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience.
  • Unlimited paid time off, subject to company policy.
  • 6 paid U.S. holidays.
  • Reimbursement for professional training.

Equal Opportunity Statement

Dataprana is an equal opportunity employer. The company supports diversity, equality, and inclusion in hiring and encourages applicants of every race, gender, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, and disability status to apply.
