- Create job descriptions and role-specific hiring strategies in partnership with hiring managers.
- Design and oversee candidate assessment processes including business cases and technical evaluations.
- Coordinate and manage all interview stages and stakeholders for each vacancy.
- Implement and maintain applicant tracking systems and other recruitment technologies.
- Collaborate with CFO and legal teams to ensure compliance with regulations in the US, UK, and France.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, simultaneously handling multiple recruitment projects and process improvements.
Candidate Profile
- Passionate about recruiting, capable of taking full ownership and working autonomously in a dynamic setting.
- Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting across multiple disciplines, particularly in engineering roles.
- Proficient in working with and managing recruitment agencies when advantageous.
- Experience launching or significantly evolving recruitment functions, preferably within startups.
- Strong skills in candidate sourcing, using core job boards and modern sourcing techniques including AI tools.
- Exceptional organization and communication skills to juggle multiple roles and build partnerships across leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background or interest in HR or people operations, including onboarding program development.
- Knowledge of international employment laws and compliance.
- Experience recruiting across diverse geographical regions such as US East/West Coasts and Europe.
Work Conditions and Location
This fully remote position favors candidates on the US East Coast but supports teams across various regions including the US West Coast and Europe. Occasional travel to offices in San Francisco, Miami, and Europe is expected.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary ranging from $110,000 to $135,000 plus a target bonus of 16%.
- Opportunity to join a rapidly expanding startup with a key role in shaping its talent acquisition.
- Comprehensive health insurance including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage.
- 401(k) retirement savings plan.
- Additional voluntary benefits such as mental health support, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits, supplemental insurance, and protection programs for auto, home, pets, legal matters, and identity theft.
Hiring Process
- Introductory 30-minute call to assess mutual suitability.
- One-hour business case evaluation to demonstrate approach to hiring challenges.
- One-hour detailed discussion on process and strategy with the CFO.
- Final 45-minute interview with CEO focusing on cultural fit and company vision.
