Position Details

Reporting directly to the VP of International Markets and with a dotted line to the Global VP of HR, this full-time office-based role in London supports leadership across the UK and other European countries including the Netherlands, Romania, and Poland. It involves strategic HR partnership spanning multiple European markets within a global framework—not limited solely to the UK.

You will be a trusted advisor for management and employees alike by coaching leaders, enhancing organizational capabilities, and ensuring a unified employee experience across regions. You will comprehensively manage the employee lifecycle, handling complex personnel matters with confidentiality, sound judgment, and business insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement people strategies aligned with business goals, including organizational design and talent planning.
  • Guide managers on performance management, talent development, and leadership behaviors.
  • Oversee critical talent processes such as performance reviews, talent assessments, development plans, promotions, succession, and retention.
  • Manage employee relations cases with legal compliance across the UK, Netherlands, Romania, and Poland.
  • Ensure adherence to UK employment law and relevant EU regulations.
  • Support initiatives for organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Collaborate extensively with HQ departments including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Finance, Legal, and People Operations to uphold compliant HR standards.
  • Use data analytics and insights to detect trends and guide strategic decisions.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum five years’ experience as an HR Business Partner within an international organization.
  • Demonstrated track record supporting multiple markets simultaneously: UK, Poland, Romania, Netherlands.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and practical experience managing employee relations in the UK.
  • Experience working closely with senior leaders and influencing organizational decision-making.
  • Proficiency managing the entire employee lifecycle in a multi-country environment.
  • CIPD certification is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial insight and business acumen.
  • Skilled at stakeholder management with the ability to impact senior leaders effectively.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and focused on delivering practical solutions.
  • Empathetic, decisive, and capable of handling sensitive and complex personnel issues with integrity and discretion.
