Role Overview
This position presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Senior People & Culture Manager to join the People Team. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the individual in this role acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, with a significant influence on shaping organizational culture, driving performance, and supporting the overall people strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver strategic and operational HR guidance throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Coach leaders in workforce planning, talent development, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Manage complex employee relations issues, including handling performance, conduct, grievances, and workplace investigations.
- Provide expert counsel on employment legislation, workplace risk assessments, and compliance matters.
- Lead key People & Culture portfolios such as employee relations, remuneration, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, HR operations, and cultural initiatives.
- Participate actively in strategic projects involving organisational change, culture enhancement, employee engagement, and organisational development.
Candidate Requirements
- Substantial experience in senior HR business partnering or HR generalist roles.
- In-depth understanding of Australian employment law and employee relations.
- Proven track record in managing complex performance and conduct issues, including grievances.
- Ability to develop trusted relationships and exert influence on senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen paired with pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
- Capacity to balance strategic thinking alongside practical implementation in dynamic environments.
