Role Overview

The company is looking for a seasoned People & Culture Business Partner to engage closely with leaders in the Specialist Wholesale, Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG), and JAS divisions. This strategic role involves partnering with operational and functional leaders to implement people-centric strategies that promote performance, engagement, and organizational development.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted consultant to stakeholders, delivering practical, commercially aligned human resources solutions across a varied business portfolio. Collaboration within the People & Culture team will include driving initiatives related to organizational design, workforce planning, leadership development, employee relations, and facilitating change management efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic People & Culture partner advising leaders within Wholesale, CVG, and JAS to enhance employee experience and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with leaders to apply workforce planning, organizational restructuring, and capability development initiatives aligned with company goals.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance issues, workplace investigations, compliance with policies, and employment law.
• Facilitate organizational change processes, assisting leaders in managing transformation, communication, and team dynamics.
• Develop leadership skills via coaching on talent management, succession planning, and boosting employee engagement.
• Utilize workforce analytics and HR metrics to detect trends, risks, and opportunities for informed decision-making.
• Promote and sustain an inclusive, high-performing, and psychologically safe workplace culture aligned with Bapcor’s values.

• Proven HR business partner experience with a strategic and pragmatic outlook.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication, influencing, and relationship management abilities.
