Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior People Business Partner (PBP) to collaborate closely with the General & Administrative (G&A) and Marketing teams. This position plays a crucial strategic role, partnering with leaders and executives to support scaling efforts and facilitate organizational success. Reporting to the Director of People Business Partners, the Senior PBP acts as an advocate, strategist, advisor, and coach, driving impactful people programs that promote high-performing teams while aligning with company values and equitable employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted counselor and advocate for managers and employees within supported business units.
- Offer coaching and consultative guidance to employees and managers to support their development and effectiveness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and leadership to develop and implement people-centric strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the broader People organization to coordinate ongoing people programs including surveys, compensation processes, performance management, feedback initiatives, and learning and development offerings.
- Cultivate a culture focused on high performance and positive change in leadership practices.
- Partner in developing people plans involving career progression frameworks, talent assessment and planning, organizational design, and engagement strategies.
- Deliver People operations support including employee relations, training, performance reviews, onboarding/offboarding, change management, and resource planning.
- Design and implement innovative talent strategies that address employee retention and growth.
- Exhibit empathy and proactive problem-solving to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Leverage forward-thinking and creativity to recommend and execute people strategies that align with business goals and employee success.
Required Expertise
- Between 5 and 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years serving as a Human Resources Business Partner in a high-growth or technology-focused environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience managing and leading large-scale change management initiatives in fast-paced and dynamic settings.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity independently and deliver results.
- A proactive, hands-on approach demonstrating adaptability, flexibility, and a commitment to achieving optimal outcomes for stakeholders.
- Track record of creating, executing, and measuring the success of people programs.
- Strong passion for developing and supporting high-performing teams to reach ambitious objectives.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional partners such as Finance, Business Operations, and People teams to enhance employee experiences.
- Resilience and problem-solving aptitude suitable for fast-moving work environments.
- High discretion and sensitivity when managing confidential and sensitive information.
- Continuous learning mindset with eagerness for professional growth.
Compensation & Benefits
US-based applicants are offered an annual salary range between $114,000 to $145,000 in addition to equity and benefits, with salary determined by role, level, and geographic location.
