Position Overview
The Senior Manager of Strategic Product Adoption leads efforts to expand and increase usage of multiple products and programs such as First-Year Application (FYA), Transfer, Direct Admissions, and Data Analytics & Benchmarking tools among member institutions. This role partners with Member Services and acts as the primary spokesperson and subject matter expert during webinars, presentations, and conferences to advocate for these services. A critical function involves aligning with product strategy and marketing teams to ensure offerings meet members' priorities and supporting enrollment consulting firms serving the membership.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic growth in adoption and usage of multiple Common App products and programs among member colleges and universities.
- Serve as a key spokesperson and subject-matter expert representing Common App's services to stakeholders through various communication channels including webinars and conferences.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Member Services to link member needs with product strategy and marketing efforts.
- Promote awareness and usage of Common App products within enrollment consulting companies serving member institutions.
Qualifications
- Must reside within the United States.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% annually, including attending two Common App retreats per year.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Education, Communications, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in enrollment or admissions, communications, account management, or customer service.
- 2 to 4 years of experience managing teams.
- Familiarity with higher education admissions processes and member institution requirements.
- Experience with Common App products, systems, and tools.
- Knowledge of account management and customer service best practices.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including engaging diverse audiences effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical reasoning, sound judgment, and adaptability to lead through change.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders by proactively engaging and collaborating on organizational priorities.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the team culture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Acuity Scheduling, and Google Suite.
- Experience coaching or mentoring team members.

Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range: $115,000 to $120,000.
