Job Overview
This role entails complete ownership of the recruitment lifecycle for positions across Hong Kong and East Asia. Duties include posting job advertisements, sourcing and screening candidates, arranging interviews, negotiating offers, following up with candidates, and coordinating onboarding. The position also involves leading campus recruitment efforts and graduate programs in the region by managing university partnerships, career presentations, interviews, and issuing job offers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end hiring processes for roles in Hong Kong and East Asia, ensuring efficient talent acquisition and onboarding coordination.
- Direct campus recruitment and graduate initiative programs, involving close cooperation with partnering universities and handling all stages from career talks to offer issuance.
- Collaborate effectively with local Country Managers, business leaders, and headquarters HR to clarify hiring needs, improve recruitment strategies, and deliver quality candidates swiftly.
- Source candidates proactively through platforms like LinkedIn, job boards, talent mapping, managing headhunters, and regional talent pools to maintain a sustainable talent pipeline.
- Communicate consistently in English with the global HQ, cross-border candidates, vendors, and regional teams, including preparation of recruitment reports and candidate profiles.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with Hong Kong employment laws, company's HR policies, and global onboarding and payroll systems such as BIPO and internal HR platforms.
- Monitor recruitment metrics, update dashboards, summarize hiring progress for the region, and assist with manpower planning and execution of talent projects.
- Enhance candidate experience and boost employer branding in Hong Kong and East Asia job markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Between one to three years of recruitment experience, ideally with regional HR or industry-specific exposure.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English, capable of managing daily cross-border communications, interviews, and report writing in English.
- Thorough understanding and practical experience with full recruitment cycles, able to juggle multiple job openings and campus recruitment projects independently.
- Knowledge of the Hong Kong recruitment environment, compliance issues, and typical hiring procedures is advantageous.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management to efficiently engage with headquarters, regional leaders, local teams, and external recruitment partners.
- Detail-oriented, data-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced regional business setting.
- Familiarity with HR technologies and recruitment tools is beneficial.
