Role Overview

Verizon's Supply Chain Services division is revitalizing its Global Strategic Sourcing Group and is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to lead strategic supplier partnerships, especially with key OEMs such as Google and Motorola. This pivotal role involves negotiating funding for Device Promotions and driving initiatives to increase both revenue and profit margins through effective contract management and promotion optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex sourcing endeavors including comprehensive contract negotiations, defining promotional frameworks, and funding arrangements.
• Develop and sustain positive, strategic supplier relationships and build trusted advisor status among internal stakeholders.
• Guide Cross Functional Teams to align on commercial strategies, manage milestones, and secure contractual commitments.
• Support the full lifecycle of device marketing promotions from strategic planning through execution.
• Monitor and report financial tracking of promotion benefits, advising executive leadership on strategic measures to enhance returns with each OEM.
• Create and refine contracts, including drafting Statements of Work, Letters of Authorization, and Requests for Proposals, while seeking opportunities to streamline and optimize contracting processes.

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience within telecommunications, specifically participating in mobile promotions or propositions at an operator or OEM.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Marketing or relevant equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in managing bids, RFPs, direct negotiations encompassing commercial, price, and technical aspects.
• Strong familiarity with Strategic Sourcing methodologies, policies, and procedures.
• Experienced in drafting critical contractual documents such as SOWs and LOAs.
• Proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced, international environment.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced degree such as a Master's or equivalent.
• Previous exposure to multi-market operations.
• Knowledge of OEM sourcing and promotional best practices.

Work Location and Hours

This is a hybrid position based in Dublin, combining remote work and on-site office days as designated by management. The standard working week comprises 37.5 hours.
