Role overview
This remote opportunity is for a Canada-based Senior Manager of Brand Marketing with a partner employer in the health and wellness technology SaaS space. The position is designed for someone who can both set direction and roll up their sleeves, helping establish and scale the brand function in a fast-growing environment.
You will own the brand vision from strategy through execution, building a clear market identity, sharpening messaging, and launching programs that increase awareness, strengthen customer relationships, and support business growth. The role spans content, community, PR, partnerships, and digital brand experiences, and it requires close collaboration with marketing, product, and leadership teams.
This role includes a high degree of autonomy and ownership, making it a strong fit for a brand leader who enjoys creating structure, driving consistency, and building from the ground up.
Key accountabilities
You will be responsible for shaping the company’s brand direction and ensuring that its identity, voice, and market positioning are consistent across all touchpoints. The role blends strategic planning with practical execution, with a focus on measurable brand and commercial impact.
- Develop and refine brand positioning, messaging systems, voice, and identity guidelines so the company’s value proposition and differentiation are clear.
- Set content direction by defining narratives, themes, editorial plans, and campaigns that support growth goals and brand development.
- Own a cross-channel content calendar that includes digital content, thought leadership, social media, community activity, and other brand-led experiences.
- Design and run brand initiatives that can be measured against awareness, engagement, pipeline influence, and customer advocacy.
- Launch community activation programs that turn customers into advocates through storytelling, partnerships, and active engagement.
- Plan and execute events, webinars, co-marketing efforts, and earned media activities that widen reach and build credibility.
- Create brand measurement models, monitor performance indicators, and use insights to improve investment decisions and overall results.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and executive stakeholders to keep brand work aligned with the wider growth strategy.
- Guide and develop team members while staying actively involved in delivery, quality control, and process improvement.

The hiring team is seeking a seasoned brand marketing professional who has helped build and scale brand functions in fast-moving technology companies. Success in this role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on creative execution, along with comfort operating in an evolving organization.
Additional requirements and context
The employer is looking for someone who can independently manage PR efforts, collaborate across functions, and bring a data-informed approach to brand decisions. Experience in health, wellness, healthcare technology, or a related field will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with AI tools for improving marketing productivity is also valued. The position is remote-first and suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership setting.

The package also includes health, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one, remote-first flexibility with optional office access, regular team gatherings and off-sites across North America, and an unlimited vacation policy based on trust and flexibility. Additional perks include employer-matched RRSP contributions, a yearly CAD 750 health and wellness allowance, a CAD 1,000 learning and development allowance, a CAD 500 home office allowance, paid parental leave, family-building support, confidential digital mental health support, and a company-wide holiday closure in December. The organization also offers the chance to work in a mission-driven environment focused on improving health and wellness outcomes.
