Role Overview
The Assistant Manager for North America Brand Marketing plays a vital role in supporting the execution of marketing strategies across key categories by managing the details that keep launches and campaigns on track. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain updated calendars, strategic trackers, and deliverables, ensuring alignment and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the North America marketing calendar, managing deadlines and deliverables pertinent to various beauty categories.
- Develop and regularly update launch timelines, trackers, and status reports for internal and external stakeholder visibility.
- Coordinate 360-degree go-to-market activations, managing logistics and supporting cross-team collaboration.
- Prepare and furnish detailed briefs, presentations, and decks for launch meetings and internal strategy discussions.
- Perform research on competitors and market categories to guide priorities and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Teams including Global Marketing, Creative, Trade Marketing, Sales, PR/Communications, DTC, Visual Merchandising, and Events to consolidate inputs and monitor open action items.
- Compile and report on sales figures, SKU performance, and brand health metrics at regular intervals.
- Handle day-to-day marketing category administration such as asset requests, sample coordination, and vendor communications.
- Assist with post-launch evaluations and summarize performance outcomes.
- Ensure all marketing materials meet the luxury brand standards of Hourglass.
Candidate Profile
- Highly organized with excellent ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Detail-focused with a commitment to producing polished and accurate work output.
- Effective communicator skilled at building strong partnerships across multiple departments.
- Eager and motivated to deepen expertise in luxury brand marketing through hands-on execution.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in marketing, brand management, or related fields; internships with relevant experience are also considered.
- Competence in project coordination and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, adept at preparing presentations and tracking tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- A genuine enthusiasm for beauty and luxury brand sectors.
- Ability to work from Hourglass's Corporate Office in Los Angeles at least 60% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a competitive base salary between $80,000 and $85,000 annually, determined by experience, skills, education, and location. Additionally, employees may participate in a discretionary bonus program based on individual and company performance.
