Job description
About Breakaway 360
Breakaway 360 is the experiential marketing division of Breakaway Group Inc., originating from the renowned Breakaway Music Festival. We specialize in producing memorable live experiences, transferring that same passion into impactful brand partnerships and immersive activations. Our offerings include live events, branded experiences, mobile tours, digital engagements, and comprehensive campaigns crafted to forge genuine connections through culture, community, and shared moments.
Role Overview
The Account Manager for Experiential Marketing will be instrumental in managing daily operations and execution of brand partnerships and experiential campaigns. Collaborating closely with the Account Director, this individual will foster client relations, oversee project milestones, and guarantee smooth execution from planning stages through event delivery and subsequent reporting. Acting as the primary link between clients and internal teams—creative, production, and operations—the role demands exceptional organization, proactive communication, a client-first approach, and adeptness in handling multiple fast-paced projects within a growing agency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients and brand partners, escalating strategic or sensitive issues to the Account Director when necessary.
- Develop and sustain trusted client relationships through clear and timely communications, responsiveness, and diligent follow-up.
- Assist in crafting and executing experiential marketing strategies aligned with client goals and the company's creative vision.
- Prepare various client-facing materials including presentations, proposals, pitch decks, status updates, meeting agendas, and post-event summaries.
- Maintain ongoing communication to ensure client alignment, transparency, and satisfaction throughout projects.
- Track client feedback, approvals, deliverables, and next action items diligently.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of on-site, mobile, digital, and hybrid brand activations.
- Transform approved creative and strategic plans into detailed timelines, project deliverables, and activation requirements.
- Manage logistics across multiple campaigns, including vendor coordination, staffing schedules, production needs, and on-site event execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams—creative, production, operations, marketing, and finance—to meet deadlines and keep projects within budget.
- Identify risks or challenges to timelines or operations and proactively suggest solutions.
- Support on-site activation management and act as the client representative during events.
- Assist in creating post-event reports, performance measurement, client recaps, and internal review sessions.
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, purchases, and financial tasks for assigned accounts.
- Help reconcile budgets and highlight any discrepancies or overruns to the Account Director.
- Liaise with external vendors, production partners, contractors, and staffing agencies to facilitate project delivery.
- Ensure vendor agreements, invoices, and necessary documentation are accurate and submitted timely.
- Support key account operations spanning Breakaway 360, Breakaway Music Festival, and other company units.
- Assist strategy implementation, client communications, project tracking, and cross-team coordination for major accounts.
- Coordinate deliverables and internal responsibilities to create a unified client experience.
- Maintain oversight of deadlines, approvals, budgets, and duties across complex multi-market partnerships.
- Identify growth prospects within existing client partnerships and festival collaborations.
- Contribute to proposal development and pitch material preparation for new business opportunities.
- Support the development of service offerings, standard procedures, and operational frameworks as the company grows.
- Document workflows, templates, and best practices to standardize team efforts.
- Foster a positive, solution-focused, and collaborative agency environment.
Candidate Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in account management, client services, experiential marketing, event marketing, or brand activation roles.
- Proven history of supporting client relationships and managing campaigns with established brands.
- Experience related to music, entertainment, lifestyle, sports, or youth culture sectors is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with live event production, sponsorship activations, vendor coordination, and experiential marketing is required.
- Exceptional organizational and project-management abilities with fine attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal, presentation, and client service capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, clients, and tight deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort collaborating cross-functionally with creative, production, operations, and finance teams.
- Ability to stay calm, resourceful, and solution-oriented in rapidly changing environments.
- Willingness to travel and be present at on-site events, including some evenings and weekends.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where responsibilities may evolve as the business expands.
