About Breakaway 360

Breakaway 360, part of Breakaway Group Inc., is specialized in experiential marketing and originates from the well-known Breakaway Music Festival. The agency focuses on delivering impactful live engagements, leveraging culture and community to connect brands authentically with their audiences through diverse activations including live events, mobile tours, digital and hybrid campaigns.

Position Overview

The Account Manager will oversee daily operations and execution of Breakaway 360's brand partnerships and experiential campaigns. Reporting directly to the Account Director, the role involves managing client communications, coordinating project tasks, and ensuring successful activation rollouts from planning stages to post-event analysis. It serves as a crucial link between clients and internal teams across creative, production, and operations, requiring strong organizational skills, multitasking capability, and client-centric focus within a fast-paced agency setting.

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact on a daily basis for assigned clients, escalating complex issues to Account Director.
  • Establish and maintain dependable client relationships through timely communication and consistent follow-up.
  • Assist in crafting and implementing experiential marketing strategies that meet client objectives and align with Breakaway’s creative direction.
  • Develop client-facing documents including presentations, proposals, status updates, and event summaries.
  • Manage ongoing communication to keep clients informed and satisfied throughout project lifecycles.
  • Monitor client feedback, approval processes, deliverables, and subsequent action items for each project.
  • Coordinate execution logistics for onsite, mobile, digital, and hybrid brand activations.
  • Translate creative plans into precise project schedules and requirements.
  • Handle day-to-day logistics such as vendor management, staffing, production coordination, and onsite event support.
  • Collaborate internally with creative, production, operations, marketing, and finance to meet deadlines and budgetary requirements.
  • Identify risks or challenges and suggest proactive solutions.
  • Oversee onsite event management, acting as a client representative during activations.
  • Support post-event reporting and debrief meetings to evaluate campaign success.
  • Track financial aspects of accounts including budgets, expenses, and purchases, alerting Account Director to discrepancies.
  • Liaise with external vendors and partners to support project delivery, ensuring all agreements and documentation are correct and timely.
  • Support major accounts cutting across different Breakaway business units, assisting with strategy, communications, and seamless delivery.
  • Help identify growth opportunities within current client relationships and festival partnerships.
  • Contribute to proposal development and agency process improvements as Breakaway 360 expands.
  • Document workflows and best practices for team consistency and collaborate to maintain a positive agency culture.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in account management, client services, experiential or event marketing, or brand activation.
  • Proven track record managing client partnerships and campaign delivery for established brands.
  • Preferably experienced in music, entertainment, lifestyle, sports, or youth culture sectors.
  • Familiarity with live event production, sponsorship activations, experiential marketing tactics, and vendor coordination.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills across writing, speaking, presenting, and customer service.
  • Capability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with creative, production, operations, and finance teams.
  • Maintains composure, resourcefulness, and problem-solving focus under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel and be onsite for events, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Adaptability to an evolving, entrepreneurial workplace where duties may shift as the company grows.

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions
