About the Role
Join a leading global sports brand recognized for its footwear, apparel, and accessories that motivate athletes and active individuals worldwide. As Junior Manager in Global Go-To-Market Planning & Analysis, you will be instrumental in coordinating and enhancing planning processes that drive business success across multiple products and markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the Seasonal Planning cycle by managing KPI objectives, generating detailed reports, and collaborating closely with Global Go-To-Market Merchandising and various Business Units.
- Establish and maintain merchandising planning tracking systems, including analysis and proactive communication regarding any discrepancies in plans.
- Perform advanced data analysis to uncover actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and stimulate growth.
- Work on continuously improving the global planning processes by adopting best practices and streamlining workflows across business units and product divisions.
- Utilize customer sell-through and market data to drive data-informed planning and decisions.
- Support product forecast submissions, validate forecast data with market teams, identify opportunities for optimization, and present findings to Senior Management in comprehensive reports.
- Suggest and apply enhancements to forecasting procedures aimed at improving accuracy, efficiency, and integration across functional planning.
- Maintain updated awareness of business performance across all product lines and key regions, proactively sharing insights with global teams to aid vital business decisions.
Skills and Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of planning experience in domains such as financial, demand, supply, or merchandising within a moderately sized company.
- Strong technical ability with advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI; familiarity with SQL or macros is advantageous.
- Excellent presentation skills with the capability to communicate information clearly and professionally through well-structured documentation.
- Superior analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities, with a creative and results-driven mindset.
- A cooperative, positive, and solution-focused team player.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and guiding cross-functional and multi-level project initiatives.
- Ability to implement processes efficiently while fostering innovation aligned to corporate goals.
