Job description

About the Role

The Senior Manager of Marketing Operations will be responsible for REE Medical’s marketing technology ecosystem, the underlying data structure, and the operational systems that help the broader marketing team execute effectively. This position oversees the technical backbone of marketing, including HubSpot, lead lifecycle automation, marketing and sales integration, attribution setup, reporting systems, Referral Rock, and related platform connections. It also covers the day-to-day operational work needed to turn strategy into reliable, measurable execution.

This role manages one direct report, the Webmaster and Analytics Manager, and works closely with the Senior Growth Marketing Manager on HubSpot strategy and roadmap delivery. The position also partners with Sales on lead routing and handoff processes, while acting as the main operational owner of marketing performance data and platform reliability.

The right candidate will be a strong builder and systems-oriented operator who has led marketing operations and MarTech administration from end to end. The role requires hands-on HubSpot expertise, comfort working in a regulated environment where privacy and compliance matter, and the ability to convert marketing strategy into dependable operational systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the marketing technology stack strategy, governance, and overall health so the marketing team can execute efficiently and measure results accurately. This includes architecture planning, roadmap development, data governance, security and integration coordination with IT, privacy and compliance coordination with Legal, and management of vendor relationships across MarTech tools.
  • Administer HubSpot across the full lifecycle, including platform setup, user administration, workflow creation, list management, campaign setup, lead scoring automation, integration points, roadmap implementation, and system upkeep. Ensure all builds are tested, properly tracked, and functioning consistently.
  • Manage Referral Rock administration, including configuration, integration monitoring, trigger automation, audit trail integrity, and general platform maintenance to support program reliability and customer experience.
  • Oversee lead routing logic, MQL-to-SQL handoff execution, SLA tracking, and the operational connection between HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Lead and develop the direct report overseeing website operations, technical SEO, site infrastructure, page launches, front-end performance, and website analytics. This includes coaching, performance reviews, and career growth support.
  • Own marketing attribution, including tracking setup, UTM discipline, attribution model execution, and the data framework that supports reliable weekly and monthly performance reporting.
  • Maintain high data quality across the marketing stack by managing duplicates, governing lists, validating data, cleaning up legacy issues, and identifying risks before they affect reporting or operations.
  • Work cross-functionally with IT on shared services, integrations, security requirements, single sign-on, and other platform dependencies that touch marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Support data privacy and compliance requirements such as opt-in/opt-out management, retention rules, consent tracking, and audit support in coordination with Legal and Compliance.
  • Manage marketing technology vendors, including contract renewals, performance reviews, optimization opportunities, and evaluation of new tools that may be added to the stack.
  • Build and maintain reporting infrastructure such as dashboards, automated reports, performance tracking, and the pipelines that support weekly leadership reviews with the SVP of Marketing and Chief Commercial Officer.
  • Prepare and present weekly platform health and operational performance updates, and contribute to board-level marketing reporting and quarterly business reviews.
  • Support annual planning, MarTech roadmap development, and capacity planning while staying informed on VA-related regulatory changes such as the PACT Act and policy updates that may impact data, privacy, or platform setup.
  • Model disciplined, ethical operational practices, mentor the Webmaster/Analytics Manager, and contribute to the continued growth of the marketing organization.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related area is preferred, though equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
  • At least 7 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or similar infrastructure roles with direct responsibility for platform administration, integrations, and data architecture.
  • Strong experience managing marketing automation systems, including configuration, workflow building, integration oversight, and data hygiene.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of HubSpot Marketing Hub; HubSpot certifications are a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical ability and practical experience using marketing analytics and reporting tools.
  • A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to work independently, take ownership of outcomes, and proactively solve issues.
  • Prior people-management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and building technical capability within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders and present performance metrics to senior leaders.
  • Experience in regulated, compliance-heavy, or healthcare-related environments is preferred.
  • Interest in and empathy for the veteran community is an advantage, and veteran or military-affiliated candidates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Expected salary range: $130,000 to $160,000 per year, based on experience.
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage, plus company-sponsored life insurance.
  • Retirement savings plan with company match.
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, and company holidays.
  • Training and development opportunities, along with room for internal advancement.
  • Flexible scheduling and a remote-first work environment, with company-wide conferences held annually.
  • Employee assistance resources for personal and family well-being.
  • Employee discounts through Insperity, recognition programs, company-sponsored social events, and opportunities to travel twice a year for the annual company conference and IT team onsite, with possible additional leadership travel.
