Role overview

Delivery Hero is seeking a (Senior) Manager, International Markets to join the International Markets team in Berlin. This position plays a key role in shaping strategy across the company’s global market footprint and in turning that strategy into practical execution.

The role is designed for someone who can work on high-impact initiatives that improve value creation, support profitability, and help uncover growth opportunities across regions. You will work closely with senior leadership at both central and regional levels, influencing how priorities are set, resources are deployed, and strategic initiatives are carried out.

What the International Markets team does

  • Sets the company-wide strategy and adapts it for more than 70 markets, while making sure local priorities and insights are reflected in the global direction.
  • Supports portfolio and P&L-related decisions at both regional and global levels, keeping strategy and financial performance aligned.
  • Leads value-creation and performance-improvement work with regional and local teams through a practical, consultative approach.
  • Acts as the central link between headquarters and regional or local management teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with C-level leaders and the wider global leadership group at the Berlin headquarters to define strategy and maintain strong execution across global and regional levels.
  • Work with stakeholders across headquarters, regional teams, and local markets to improve operational and financial outcomes.
  • Identify, adapt, and spread best practices from Delivery Hero’s operations across more than 70 countries, then support their rollout and adoption.
  • Analyze data, turn it into actionable insights, and present clear recommendations on important business topics to decision-makers.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of professional experience, excluding internships and traineeships, in management consulting, investment banking, or business development/strategy within a fast-moving technology company.
  • At least 2 of those years must have been spent at a top-tier global management consulting firm.
  • Strong capability in building complex business and financial models and in using data together with sound judgment to guide decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, which is the primary business language.
  • Proven experience working with and influencing C-level executives.
  • Ability to build cooperative, trust-based relationships with people across different functions, seniority levels, and cultural backgrounds.
  • A strong sense of ownership and a willingness to stay hands-on to get work done.
  • Nice to have: international work experience.
  • Nice to have: technical skills, especially SQL.
