The Security division is rapidly expanding, particularly in Cyber Investigation and Forensic Response (CIFR), delivering 24/7 incident response to enterprise clients globally.
The Role and Team
Joining the Accenture CIFR team means working in an energetic, diverse environment alongside expert professionals tackling some of the most significant and sophisticated data breaches worldwide. Our team operates across multiple regions, providing specialized incident response and cyber threat hunting services to multinational companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead incident response engagements, coordinating on-site and remote investigative resources.
- Perform intrusion analysis to establish breach cause and scope.
- Conduct comprehensive digital forensic investigations including data collection, host and network forensics, log and malware analysis, leveraging EDR tools and threat intelligence.
- Manage threat hunting operations across endpoints and networks.
- Develop indicators of compromise by analyzing attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Create and implement adaptive remediation plans during incident responses.
- Lead preparation of detailed client reports outlining investigative findings.
- Effectively liaise with technical, strategic, legal, and client stakeholders throughout engagements.
- Support leadership in scoping and innovatively planning engagements aligned with client needs.
- Mentor and train team members within CIFR.
- Collaborate globally to enhance and maintain CIFR service offerings.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong expertise in incident response, digital forensics, and cyber investigations.
- Proficient with industry-standard DFIR toolsets and techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and MacOS operating systems from a DFIR perspective.
- Experience conducting threat hunts on endpoints and networks.
- The ability to identify attacker TTPs and generate comprehensive indicators of compromise.
- Ability to eradicate threats and enhance monitoring and protective measures.
- Understanding complex enterprise environments and malware infection vectors.
- Proven leadership skills to manage investigative teams in high-pressure situations and client interactions.
- Excellent project management and client communication competencies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms and environments.
- Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
- Familiarity with scripting and programming languages.
- Experience in malware reverse engineering and sandboxing technologies.
- Relevant academic background in computing or information technology.
- Security certifications such as GREM, GCFE, GCFA, CEH, GCIH.
- At least 5 years of experience in Digital Forensic and Incident Response.
