Role overview

This position leads the full lifecycle administration of corporate borrowing arrangements. The work includes arranging capital, building financial models, assessing financing options, negotiating deal terms, overseeing collateral, and tracking compliance measures. The role works closely with the Managing Director of Treasury & Corporate Finance and cross-functional teams to complete aircraft and corporate funding transactions and to manage relationships with lenders across the debt portfolio.

Beyond transaction work, the role supports wider treasury efforts such as capital planning, improvements to cash flow forecasting, and analysis of liquidity and funding strategy. Over time, the position also contributes to the review and creation of new financing opportunities, with growing involvement in origination and structuring activities as responsibilities expand.

Minimum qualifications

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States under the Immigration Act of 1986 and must successfully complete a criminal background check. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

A bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in finance, accounting, business administration, or a similar discipline.

The role calls for at least 5 years of corporate finance experience. Background in travel or asset-intensive industries is preferred, and aviation experience is considered a strong plus.

Preferred background

Additional credentials such as an MBA, CPA, or CTP are advantageous. Experience with aircraft valuation, aircraft leasing companies, banks, or other financial institutions will also be helpful. Knowledge of aircraft acquisition processes and familiarity with A320/B737 family aircraft markets are desirable.

The position may require occasional travel, including international travel, at a rate of less than 10%.

Key duties

The Senior Manager evaluates financing proposals and market alternatives for aircraft and other capital requirements, then provides recommendations grounded in financial and strategic analysis. The role also manages debt transaction execution from structuring through closing, coordinating with internal partners such as Treasury, Legal, and Accounting, as well as outside counterparties.

Responsibilities include negotiating financial and legal terms for debt agreements and amendments under Treasury leadership, managing timelines and deliverables, and identifying risks early so complex processes stay on track. The role maintains and reconciles debt servicing schedules, supports capital planning and liquidity forecasting, and helps daily cash management by optimizing cash positioning, assessing funding needs, and moving funds efficiently across accounts and entities.

Other ongoing duties include maintaining lender relationships, handling reporting and communications, coordinating closing and post-closing documentation, managing KYC and collateral-related tasks, tracking market conditions, supporting debt compliance and administrative obligations, organizing asset documentation, processing matured debt or prepayments, and handling detailed execution work such as invoice review and deliverable tracking. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Work environment and physical requirements

This is an office-based role. While performing the job, the team member is regularly expected to stand, sit, speak, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to work with a computer, keyboard, printer, and phone. The role may require lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 20 lbs.

Work may involve different shifts or days in a 24-hour environment. Regular attendance is required. The position may include exposure to moderate office noise, changes in temperature and lighting, the need to work in a confined space, and extended periods at a computer. Some travel may be necessary.
