About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join a prominent healthcare organisation in Dublin. This permanent position initially requires working fully onsite during the onboarding phase, with progression to a hybrid schedule and a condensed workweek thereafter. The role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth, including exposure to complex employee and industrial relations matters, and strong mentorship within a supportive and experienced HR team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with management to deliver practical HR advice and solutions across various business units.
  • Handle employee relations cases encompassing absence management, performance issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coach and support leaders to enhance their confidence and competence in managing people.
  • Contribute to fostering an engaged and purpose-driven workforce.
  • Gain experience working with industrial relations and unionized settings.
  • Ensure that HR policies, documentation, and decision-making processes are consistent, equitable, and compliant with regulations.
  • Participate in HR projects, change management initiatives, and continuous process improvements.
  • Utilize HR analytics and reporting tools to offer actionable insights and support data-informed decision-making.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in human resources with a strong foundation in employee relations and case management.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law combined with enthusiasm to refine employee relations expertise.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships and assist managers effectively.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Interest in contributing to a mission-led and people-centered environment.
  • Experience in sectors such as healthcare, public services, unionized workplaces, regulated industries, or large operational settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
