Role Overview

An established and respected organisation is seeking a Human Resources Operations Specialist to join its energetic People team in South Dublin. This position is ideal for an HR professional who is drawn to the operational side of people management and wants hands-on experience across the employee journey, HR platforms, onboarding, compliance, reporting, and process refinement.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll support a busy HR function and help keep daily operations running smoothly for a large, varied workforce. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team and contribute to a positive employee experience.

  • Handle HR operations tasks and administration throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Coordinate recruitment steps and onboarding activities
  • Support compliance work, vetting, and pre-employment screening
  • Maintain HR systems, manage employee data, and prepare reports
  • Provide administrative support for learning and development activities
  • Assist with employee benefits administration and pension processing
  • Take part in HR audits, governance activities, and continuous process improvements

What We’re Looking For

This opportunity suits someone who enjoys using HR systems, keeping records accurate, and helping create a smooth and efficient employee journey.

  • At least 2 years of experience in HR administration, HR operations, or a comparable role
  • A qualification in HR or a relevant third-level degree
  • Proven experience working with HR systems and handling data accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and solid organisational ability
  • Capability to juggle several priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Prior exposure to a regulated environment would be beneficial
