Role overview
This opportunity sits within the People team of an innovative international business working at the leading edge of blockchain technology. The position combines talent acquisition and people operations, offering a highly varied workload where priorities can change from week to week.
The role is designed for someone who enjoys switching between recruitment and HR operations. In some periods, most of the time will be spent on hiring activity and collaboration with managers; at other times, the focus will move to employee lifecycle support, systems, process work, and wider people projects. The role is highly flexible, with minimal office attendance expected.
Key responsibilities
- Manage hiring from start to finish across several areas of the business.
- Work with hiring managers on workforce planning, salary benchmarking and recruitment approach.
- Support employees through the full journey, including joining, internal changes and exit processes.
- Handle HR administration and maintain employee records and documentation.
- Administer benefits and support day-to-day HR operations.
- Keep HR systems up to date and ensure employee information is accurate.
- Contribute to workflow refinement, operational improvements and broader people initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across a global organisation to help deliver a strong employee experience.
Candidate profile
The ideal person will be comfortable balancing recruitment delivery with HR operations. They should be able to work independently, take ownership of tasks and bring a practical, hands-on approach to people work.
Experience and capabilities
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a Generalist HR, People Operations or Talent Partner position.
- Proven end-to-end recruitment experience, ideally within technology.
- Background supporting employee lifecycle processes.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident working with HRIS and related systems.
- Excellent organisation and strong accuracy in day-to-day work.
- Self-driven, proactive and comfortable working with limited supervision.
- Committed to creating an excellent employee experience.
Industry interest
- Experience in, or strong interest in, blockchain.
- Interest in cryptocurrency and Web3.
- Exposure to or enthusiasm for FinTech.
- Interest in scaling technology businesses.
About the working style
This position suits someone who enjoys taking responsibility, solving problems, improving processes and building relationships. It is well matched to a person who can move comfortably between hiring discussions, onboarding support, process optimisation and systems work.
