Position Summary
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) will act as a strategic consultant to Business Unit leaders, ensuring synchronization between people strategies and business goals. This role primarily serves India-based teams within a global delivery framework and emphasizes workforce planning, employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, engagement, development, and organizational effectiveness matters to BU leaders.
- Collaborate with business leaders to implement HR strategies that support corporate objectives.
- Proactively identify business needs and propose HR solutions.
- Advocate HR initiatives effectively and align stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Participate actively in BU meetings by delivering HR insights and influencing decisions based on data.
- Build strong relationships with leaders and employees to improve organizational performance.
- Coach and assist managers with moderately complex organizational decisions balancing business and employee considerations.
- Support workforce planning by evaluating business needs and proposing staffing plans.
- Contribute to talent management activities such as performance evaluation, succession planning, and career growth initiatives.
- Analyze HR data to produce actionable insights for business decision-making focused on engagement, retention, and employee experience.
- Align India HR practices with global strategies and U.S. leadership expectations.
- Apply industry knowledge and emerging HR technologies to enhance HR functions and outcomes.
- Address employee relations and HR issues fairly and compliantly, providing expert guidance.
- Identify and solve HR challenges using practical, business-oriented approaches.
- Drive ongoing process improvements to boost HR efficiency and impact.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Between 5 and 8 years of progressive HR experience with strong business partnering exposure.
- Demonstrable ability to influence stakeholders and lead HR initiatives in matrixed organizations.
- Experience working in global companies with direct reporting to U.S.-based leadership.
