Role overview

This role focuses on managing assigned tax forms and related materials from start to finish, including securing government agency paper approvals, maintaining content accuracy, and keeping form updates aligned with official requirements. The position works within tight deadlines and relies on internal tools and structured processes to deliver high-quality output.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle the acquisition, upkeep, and government paper approval process for all assigned tax materials.
  • Work in proprietary systems to maintain content accurately and on schedule.
  • Track changes in government-issued forms and reflect those updates in the software.
  • Create tax form content inside the product environment.
  • Revise tax forms to match provincial and federal requirements as well as Intuit standards, all within strict timelines.
  • Review your own work and also support peer review to catch issues before release.
  • Build fluency with multiple internal tools used across tax product workflows.
  • Spot opportunities to improve processes and help put those improvements into practice.
  • Take part in deciding work priorities across the team.

Qualifications and working style

  • Experience with Agile or Scrum team practices is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, Python, GitHub, or a comparable programming language.
  • Comfort using Windows, Microsoft Office, and different database systems.
  • Strong familiarity with form design software such as Adobe Acrobat.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a fast-moving professional setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Understanding of software best practices.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal ability.
  • Comfort working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to follow a defined process with multiple steps.
  • Consistently maintains a high standard for assigned deliverables.
  • Uses sound judgment within the scope of assigned work.
  • Can give and receive constructive feedback effectively.

Compensation and benefits

This position includes a competitive compensation package with a performance-based pay approach. The role is eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits under applicable plans and programs. Pay is set based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Intuit also reviews compensation regularly to help support fair pay across ethnicity and gender categories.

Expected base pay range by location: Toronto, Alberta Remote, British Columbia Remote, Edmonton (Alberta), Nova Scotia Remote, Ontario Remote, and Prince Edward Island Remote: CAD 49,000 to CAD 66,000 annually.
