Job description
Overview
This role focuses on managing tax form content for assigned products, including obtaining, maintaining, and securing government agency approval for paper-based materials. The position requires keeping content accurate, current, and aligned with both provincial and federal requirements as well as internal standards.
You will work with internal systems and tools to update form content, track changes in government forms, and ensure deliverables are completed on time with a high level of accuracy. The job also includes checking your own work, reviewing peer output, and helping improve internal processes.
Responsibilities
- Handle the collection, upkeep, and government approval process for assigned tax materials.
- Use proprietary systems to maintain content within set timelines and with minimal errors.
- Track revisions in government-issued forms and reflect those updates appropriately.
- Build and update tax form content inside the software platform.
- Revise forms to meet provincial and federal specifications, along with Intuit’s internal standards, while meeting strict deadlines.
- Perform self-review and peer review to support quality control.
- Develop familiarity with multiple internal tools used across tax products.
- Suggest and help implement workflow and process improvements.
- Take part in prioritizing work across the team.
Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with Agile/Scrum team practices.
- Working knowledge of HTML, Python, GitHub, or similar programming tools.
- Comfort using Windows, Microsoft Office, and database systems.
- Strong understanding of form design tools such as Adobe Acrobat.
- At least 2 years of experience in a fast-moving professional setting.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Understanding of software development best practices.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, plus strong interpersonal ability.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Capable of following a structured, multi-step process.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality output for owned work.
