Key Responsibilities

  • Set up customer accounts accurately, managing majors, logo codes, billing accounts, and other internal components.
  • Collaborate with credit, field sales, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial onboarding and account activation.
  • Review and process customer vendor forms, new account documentation, and related onboarding materials with precision.
  • Verify customer details, including Group Purchasing Organization affiliations and strategic account validations.
  • Communicate effectively with field sales and internal partners concerning onboarding progress, documentation requirements, and questions.
  • Utilize internal software systems, Excel spreadsheets, account interfaces, and reporting tools to enter, confirm, track, and update onboarding data.
  • Resolve basic onboarding, billing, documentation, and system issues; escalate complex cases appropriately.
  • Maintain service standards by delivering prompt responses and completing account setups within departmental timelines.
  • Participate in initiatives to enhance onboarding processes for improved accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in customer onboarding, account setup, finance/billing support, sales assistance, customer service, operations, or administrative roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, filtering, and creating basic reports.

Preferred Skills

  • Associate degree or coursework in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Customer Service, or related discipline.
  • Experience with account management or reporting tools like LINC or FOCUS.
  • Intermediate Excel abilities including data sorting, filtering, and report support.
