Senior Executive (Data Analyst) - AIO Innovation Office (1 Year Contract)

Role Overview

Under the supervision of the Deputy Group Chief Technology Officer at NUHS GCTO, you will contribute to the data analytics efforts within the department by managing dashboard development and enhancements. Your work will focus on deploying advanced Artificial Intelligence and machine learning solutions to improve clinical workflow efficiency within the NUHS cluster.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cleanse datasets to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Utilize statistical and data mining techniques to explore and analyze extensive datasets.
• Detect significant patterns, correlations, and trends within the data.
• Design, develop, and implement data models, algorithms, and compelling visualizations to communicate insights.
• Generate clear reports, dashboards, and presentations to share analytical results with stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams to comprehend their data requirements and provide analytical assistance.
• Ensure data visualizations are user-friendly, visually engaging, and accessible for non-technical audiences.
• Establish and enforce data quality controls and validation procedures to maintain data integrity.
• Continuously monitor data quality and promptly address any anomalies or issues.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• Strong analytical aptitude with proven problem-solving capabilities to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Proficiency in programming and data manipulation languages including SQL, Python, and R.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
• Competence in data visualization platforms such as Tableau and Power BI for building interactive dashboards and reports.
• Familiarity with database principles and handling large datasets is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail ensuring accurate data handling and analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills enabling effective dialogue with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Essential experience in dashboard development using AWS Quicksight or Tibco Spotfire.
