Role Summary

The Senior Director for Strategic Growth Initiatives & Transformation will be a key individual contributor tasked with executing SharkNinja’s top global growth projects. This role demands strong cross-functional leadership and organizational alignment to implement strategies related to geographic expansion, new sales channels, direct-to-consumer growth, social commerce, and other commercial opportunities. This position is located in London (Battersea Power Station) and requires frequent travel both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of SharkNinja's priority growth projects, ensuring delivery of measurable business results.
  • Focus on expanding into new geographic markets, developing new sales channels, and accelerating direct-to-consumer and social commerce initiatives.
  • Convert strategic priorities into integrated action plans with clear milestones, risk assessments, and success indicators.
  • Forge strong partnerships across departments to synchronize resources and efforts.
  • Identify and remove obstacles to timely project implementation.
  • Lead initiatives through all phases—from business outcome definition through implementation, adoption, and scaling.
  • Develop change management approaches to promote stakeholder alignment, organizational readiness, and user adoption.
  • Coordinate cross-functional team activities and drive accountability.
  • Provide progress updates, risk analysis, and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Establish project governance, performance dashboards, and detailed metrics to monitor success.
  • Formulate business cases and support investment-related decision-making.
  • Conduct post-launch reviews to assess impact and identify improvements.
  • Create repeatable playbooks and standardized procedures to accelerate market, channel, and category launches.
  • Identify and address operational gaps hindering growth, and recommend sustainable operating model changes.
  • Implement enterprise governance routines to ensure transparency, accountability, and steady progress toward growth goals.

Success Indicators

  • Timely launch of new markets, channels, or commercial models meeting adoption targets.
  • Quantifiable value creation measured via revenue growth, margin enhancement, or efficiency improvements tied directly to growth initiatives.
  • Adoption and continuation of standardized playbooks and operational rhythms across functional teams.
  • Clear executive alignment on priorities with transparent reporting on initiative status and necessary adjustments.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Over 12 years of relevant experience in strategy execution, business operations, consulting, program management, or commercial implementation.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects that show tangible business benefits.
  • Hands-on experience with market and channel expansions and enterprise growth initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership of AI-driven projects, including evaluation, implementation, and driving organizational adoption.
  • Experience collaborating with executive leadership and influencing decisions in matrixed organizations.
  • Willingness and capability for extensive travel worldwide.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
