Senior Business Transformation Consultant – AI Strategy, Growth & Innovation

Position Overview

This role is offered on behalf of a partner organization based in Germany that manages all application procedures and subsequent steps. The Senior Business Transformation Consultant specializing in AI Strategy, Growth, and Innovation will collaborate with executive leadership to enhance organizational strategies, operational workflows, and customer engagement through transformative business methodologies and cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct executive interviews, discovery sessions, and workshops to identify business challenges and potential transformation opportunities.
• Evaluate operating models, organizational frameworks, workflows, IT systems, customer journeys, and performance metrics to detect areas for improvement.
• Highlight business risks, operational inefficiencies, technology limitations, while identifying innovation and growth opportunities.
• Develop strategic advice, business cases, new operating models, governance structures, and implementation roadmaps.
• Provide guidance on the practical and ethical use of AI, automation, data initiatives, and emerging technologies.
• Design governance and decision-making frameworks, roles, KPIs, reporting mechanisms, and operational procedures.
• Facilitate organizational change via stakeholder alignment, documentation, training sessions, and adoption strategies.
• Offer consultation on growth tactics, market positioning, service innovations, commercialization strategies, and enhancements to the customer experience.
• Create innovative frameworks, service blueprints, playbooks, and technology-driven business solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor during client engagements.
• Assess delivery risks, dependencies, resource needs, and projected business impacts for implementation plans.
• Support the execution and delivery phases of approved strategic initiatives.
• Engage in business development activities as applicable while maintaining focus on consulting and client advisory responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in management consulting, business transformation, strategy, operational improvement, innovation, or related disciplines.
• Proven ability to advise senior executives and manage stakeholder engagements effectively.
• Expertise in assessing organizations including operating models, workflows, and management approaches.
• Strong knowledge of AI, automation, digital platforms, data analytics, and technology-driven transformation processes.
• Experienced in formulating business cases, governance models, strategic recommendations, roadmaps, and performance tracking frameworks.
• Commercially astute with the ability to evaluate risks, feasibility, and business value of strategic initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, including writing, presentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management.
• Self-motivated with capability to independently manage multiple complex projects and priorities.
• Holds at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with commercialization of technology-driven services and business model innovations beneficial.
• A background in customer experience strategy, service design, innovation, or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of CRM, ERP, marketing automation, analytics, and workflow systems is advantageous.
• Experience supporting AI adoption, organizational change management, and training is a plus.
• Preferred experience in enterprise consulting, professional services, agency, SaaS, or multi-client settings.
