About the Role

An established organisation in Dublin is undergoing a substantial transformation and seeks a seasoned leader to guide the strategic planning and prioritisation of change initiatives. This senior position closely collaborates with top executives to determine the critical projects to pursue, their sequence, and rationale, ensuring leadership confidence in resource investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the overarching strategic direction for key organisational change projects.
• Evaluate incoming ideas and requests to determine their prioritisation and timing.
• Balance conflicting priorities and advise on optimal resource allocation.
• Develop well-supported rationale and evidence for significant investment choices.
• Communicate recommendations effectively to senior leadership, facilitating decisive actions.
• Maintain an up-to-date comprehensive overview of all initiatives to keep leadership informed on progress.
• Coordinate with execution teams to ensure realistic planning and effective transition of projects.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven experience in planning and prioritising transformational change across an entire organisation.
• Ability to make judicious decisions amid limited resources and competing demands.
• Confidence in presenting and defending proposals to senior leaders, including Board members.
• Leadership experience managing and mentoring small teams.
• Capability to remain composed and impose structure in uncertain and complex situations.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in simplifying complex information for executive audiences.
