About the Role

The Chief People Officer is a crucial member of the executive leadership team within a rapidly expanding technology, AI, and semiconductor group generating $800 million in global revenue. This role focuses on leading transformative HR strategies and executing change management initiatives that support business growth and enhance employee culture across a diverse, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that promote high levels of employee engagement in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Provide expert leadership over all HR functions at the regional level across the Americas.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior management, advising on workforce impacts related to business planning and resource allocation.
  • Create and drive both short-term and long-term programs aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness, employee development, and performance management.
  • Regularly evaluate the competitiveness and fairness of HR programs across global offices, benchmarking against relevant industries, markets, and regions.
  • Forecast and prepare for future human resource needs in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Lead and inspire an HR team to surpass organizational and department goals.
  • Analyze and disseminate insights to empower managers to foster positive workplace culture consistent with company values.
  • Function as a corporate advisor on cross-functional policies and ensure effective communication across departments and global locations.
  • Establish and monitor relevant HR metrics, including ROI and KPIs, to proactively address employment trends and operational challenges.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline; MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of strategic HR experience, including at least 5 years in HR strategy leadership within technology, automation, or manufacturing global markets.
  • 7-10 years of senior leadership experience in global HR roles; board-level experience is advantageous.
  • Proven leadership and management expertise to establish a robust and sustainable HR function.
  • Strong strategic planning capabilities with experience developing and executing global HR strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in driving organizational change and achieving specific business outcomes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Hands-on experience across all core HR functions.
  • Experience in recruiting, managing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and hold staff accountable while fostering skill development.
  • Excellent business insight combined with creativity, problem-solving skills, and decisive execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a focus on collaboration at all organizational levels.
  • Effective communication abilities, including polished written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality with utmost discretion.
  • Strong process management and project delegation skills, comfortable working in ambiguous contexts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
