Role Overview

The Senior Director of Operational Excellence is a full-time position working remotely, tasked with spearheading initiatives across the institute to enhance operational performance, efficiency, and quality. This role involves designing, implementing, and continuously refining business processes that span academic, administrative, and support areas. The Senior Director will collaborate with senior leadership and various teams to define key performance indicators, assess operational data, and formulate strategies to boost learner experience and overall institutional results.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties include leading operational excellence programs, managing process improvement projects, facilitating strategic planning, promoting the adoption and maintenance of best practices and standardized procedures, mentoring managerial staff in operational methods, overseeing change management efforts, and providing progress reports to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Expertise in Business Process Improvement to design, optimize, and standardize workflows throughout the institution.
Strong background in Operational Excellence and Strategic Planning for driving transformation aligned with organizational goals.
Advanced analytical capabilities to interpret data, detect trends, and support decisions based on evidence.
Proven leadership experience in managing extensive change or continuous improvement programs, preferably in education, vocational training, or related sectors.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, remote teams, and communicate complex topics clearly to varied audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Education Administration, or related disciplines, with preference for candidates holding master’s degrees or professional certifications such as Lean or Six Sigma.
Exceptional organizational, project management, and leadership skills demonstrated by measurable operational achievements.
